We intended to get to try their food prior to the event but time got away and we were a bit nervous on the day about how it would go. Met Anthony and his other chef very early on the wedding day and it became clear that these two guys were passionate foodies. I spent a lot of time with them and they were only too happy to share tips on how to prepare and smoke meats. The wedding guests loved the food, smashed the lamb in particular. Anthony’s mum provided really great salads to accompany the meats.

I personally recommend UP IN SMOKE for anyone needing impressive food for an event.

“On short notice, Anthony from Up In Smoke BBQ delivered 27kg of beautifully smoked pork and lamb to my door. He quickly prepared the succulent meat for the table, adding his special sauces. Everyone loved the delicious smokey flavour and both the pork and lamb was so tender. His homemade sauces of chimichurri and tzatziki were also a treat. It was delicious, full of flavour and nice to have something different from the usual barbecue. I am looking forward to trying the beef asado and chicken gyros next time!”

“From our first contact with Up In Smoke BBQ Anthony provided us with all the information we needed and was very accommodating with time and availability, going above and beyond to arrange things for us outside of normal business hours. We worked out a menu which suited our needs and dietary requirements even at short notice. 

On the day, Anthony arrived on time with a great setup of gear and BBQ’s to start the slow cooking in time for the event. The setup looked impressive and the food was fantastic. Everyone who came commented on how good the meal was and even the presentation was great with the meat served up on huge wooden planks.

“We recently hosted 30 friends for a New Year catch up & Anthony from ‘Up in Smoke BBQ’ cooked up a storm on his BBQs.
His specially marinated chicken, pork, & beef were a huge success, with all wanting more.
He arrived early to set up (covering up our tiles to ensure no mess) & then cooked, served & cleaned up whilst we all enjoyed his delicious meal. He was lovely to have in our home & all our guests loved having ‘BBQ chats’ with him.
His wooden cutting boards beautifully displayed the sumptuous wagyu short ribs & then the rolled pork loin.
Anthony’s delicious home prepared gravies & sauces also added to the meal.
It was nice for us to be able to enjoy our friends company & provide them with sensational BBQ meats without the stress.
We highly recommend ‘Up in Smoke BBQ’ & would definitely use Anthony again.”
